New Cadet Orientation - Fall 2024
Students interested in joining should attend AFROTC Det 915's New Cadet Orientation on 15-16 August, 2024. Current cadets will help you unload your car and move into your dorm (Evansdale Towers Dorms only) during the morning of 15 August and the active-duty staff will provide a program overview to students and families before a picnic is held to welcome everyone. On 16 August, students will in-process with the Detachment and join current cadets in a teambuilding event.
Attendance is not required but is recommended since it takes care of several required administrative items. Interested students should schedule their Resident Hall move-in time slot for 15 August between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., sign up for their respective USAF classes, and check their MIX email account for more information regarding New Cadet Orientation before school starts. Parents are welcome to attend on 15 August, but will not be able to join their student for in-processing on 16 August.
All students joining
AFROTC, regardless of their attendance at orientation, will be required to
complete the AFROTC Det 915 In-Processing Checklist located below before
they can become an active cadet in the AFROTC program.
